Itinerary
Day 1 San José
Trip starts in the capital of Costa Rica where you will meet your trip leader and group.
Day 2-4 Tortuguero
Enjoy a two day visit to the spectacular Tortuguero National Park where you can go kayaking, hiking or join a sightseeing boat tour. If you visit during the right season you might also get to see green and leatherback turtles laying eggs on the nearby beaches.
Day 5-7 La Fortuna + Arenal
This region of Costa Rica is exciting and exhilerating, you can go kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding on the spectacular Lake Arenal. Alternative options include visiting the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge or join other adventure sports like rafting and waterfall rappelling. If you are just looking to relax you could visit a local hotspring.
Day 8 San José
Free day to explore San José, you could visit a local market or just wander around the busy streets.
Day 9 San José
Tour finishes on day 9 where you are free to leave at any time
