Use the present to connect with the past as you explore some of the best Roman ruins outside of Italy, swim in the Dead Sea, take in Petra’s fascinating history, ride through the desert on a 4x4, and spend the night camping in a Bedouin camp. In 15 days you’ll travel through thousands of years of history. Daunting? Maybe. Life-changing? Definitely.

Itinerary

Day 1 Amman
Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Amman/Jerash/Dead Sea/Amman
Guided visit to the ancient Roman town of Jerash followed by a visit to the Dead Sea.

Day 3 Amman/Karak/Petra
A packed day includes a guided visit to the intricate Madaba mosaics, enjoying the panoramic views from Mt Nebo and a visit to the crusader castle at Karak.

Day 4 Petra
Start early to visit iconic Petra. It's easy to wander this massive 'rose city' for hours.

Day 5 Petra/Wadi Rum
Opt to visit Little Petra in the morning before continuing to Wadi Rum. Head out for a 4x4 excursion during the day before a traditional dinner and overnight at a Bedouin desert camp.

Day 6 Wadi Rum/Aqaba
Opt to take a hot air balloon ride at sunrise for incredible views of the desert. Journey towards the red sea, where you can opt to snorkel and enjoy a relaxing boat trip.

Day 7 Aqaba/Amman
Head back to Amman with a little time to explore.

Day 8 Amman/Jerusalem
Cross the border into Israel and make your way to Jerusalem. Take a free night to explore.

Day 9 Jerusalem
Visit the Western Wall and the Holy Sepulchre Church. Enjoy a guided visit of the Muslim and Jewish quarters of Old Jerusalem.

Day 10 Jerusalem/Negev Desert
Visit Bethlehem and the Duhaishe Camp for Palestinian refugees before heading to the Negev Desert for an overnight in a Bedouin-style camp.

Day 11 Negev Desert/Dead Sea
Visit the fortress of Masada followed by a swim in the Dead Sea.

Day 12 Dead Sea/Galilee
Tour the Sea of Galilee, take in the rocky plateau of the Golan Heights, and spend the night in a kibbutz community.

Day 13 Galilee/Nazareth
Travel to Nazareth. Make a unique visit to a Druze village and enjoy a lunch with a local family.

Day 14 Nazareth/Tel Aviv
Visit Akko and its colourful markets and mosque before continuing to historic Jaffa. Complete the day with an driving tour of Israel's vibrant capital, Tel Aviv.

Day 15 Tel Aviv
