With days spent on boat trips and sunny beaches and evenings full of bonding with new friends as you enjoy the city nightlife, your schedule will be so full that the 41 days will fly by.

Itinerary

Day 1 Bangkok
Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Bangkok
Free day to see the sights of Bangkok such as the Grand Palace and Wat Po. Overnight train to Surat Thani.

Day 3-5 Koh Samui/Krabi
For trips departing May through October: Take a short boat ride to the island of Koh Samui and spend the next few days exploring the island's beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife. Included full-day snorkeling excursion to Ang Thong Marine Park.

For trips departing November through April: Transfer to Krabi and enjoy a few days on the beach on the Andaman Sea. Included full-day snorkelling trip to Koh Phi Phi.

Day 6-7 Penang
Cross the border to Malaysia. Take a scenic boat trip through a sheltered archipelago to arrive to Penang. Enjoy one of two street food crawls with the group and CEO while here.

Day 8-9 Cameron Highlands
Optional highlands tour or go hiking.

Day 10-11 Kuala Lumpur
Explore Malaysia's capital independently or opt for a city tour. Don't miss the Petronas Towers.

Day 12 Melaka
Visit the town's highlights; opt to visit a museum or take a boat tour of Melaka's canals.

Day 13 Singapore
Border crossing Malaysia into Singapore. Free time to take a harbour cruise or try mouth-watering street food.

Day 14 Medan
Fly to Medan, the capital of North Sumatra. Stroll around the city and try to spot the Dutch influence in some of the city's old buildings.

Day 15 Tangkahan
Morning tour of Medan. Traverse bumpy roads to reach the small jungle community of Tangkahan.

Day 16-17 Bukit Lawang
Hike from Tangkahan to Bukit Lawang. Visit the orangutan viewing platform, and opt to go jungle trekking in Gunung Leuser NP.

Day 18-19 Berastagi
Orientation walk upon arrival. Opt to hike a volcano or tour traditional villages.

Day 20-21 Samosir Island
Chill out and swim in the warm waters of the world's largest volcano lake, or opt for some culture by visiting local Batak villages.

Day 22 Sibolga
Drive through beautiful scenery on this travel day finishing at this town on the Indian Ocean on Sumatra's western coast.

Day 23 Panyabungan
Break up the journey with an overnight stop in Panyabungan.

Day 24-25 Bukittinggi
Orientation walk upon arrival after a long travel day. Free day to go rafting, visit Sianok Canyon or check out Japanese caves from World War II.

Day 26 Padang
Travel back to the Indian Ocean for a night beachside, and do not miss the sunset!

Day 27-28 Jakarta
Transfer to Padang, and take a flight to Jakarta. ree time to explore the thriving capital of Indonesia. Enjoy the second of two street food crawls with the group and CEO while here.

Day 29 Cianjur
Venture to Cianjur via Bogor, visit the floating villages and opt to teach English to local children. Experience local life by sleeping at a homestay.

Day 30 Bandung
Enjoy an orientation walk of the sprawling city of Bandung then explore independently.

Day 31-33 Yogyakarta
Scenic train trip to Yogyakarta, then free time to visit local sights such as the Buddhist Borobudur temple complex, Javanese temples, or Mt Merapi. Get out and explore this bustling city.

Day 34 Tawangmangu
Enjoy an optional stop to explore the Prambanan temples, then opt to continue on to the Sukuh Temple with its erotic carvings, followed by a beautiful walk through small villages and farms to Tawangmangu.

Day 35 Malang
Take a scenic journey to Bromo Tengger Semeru NP.

Day 36 Mt Bromo
Early morning hike to view the enchanting moonscape of Mt Bromo.

Day 37 Kalibaru
Journey to the famous Indonesian coffee plantations of Kalibaru.

Day 38-39 Pemuteran
Head to Bali and the beach with time to relax or explore the national park. Opt to take a snorkelling trip to Menjangan Island.

Day 40 Sanur
Travel to Sanur via hot springs and pristine cascades before a final night out with the group.

Day 41 Sanur
Depart at any time.
